These may be the only Christmas Tree pictures we get to take if the cats decide to take down the tree tomorrow while we are at work(-: We are lucky enough to have an inside (wo)man at Garden Ridge so that is where the tree and music ornaments, blue and white ornaments, and the angel came from (thanks Linda!). The stained glass ladybug was a gift from Beverly last Christmas (so cute!) and all of the Nightmare Before Christmas stuff is from John and Tabby's trip to Disney (thank you!), Merry Christmas!

Snow and Sunrises
Above are from Josh's ride to and from work and below is a house in Park Ridge and the sidewalk near my work in the city.
First picture is snow stacked about 3 inches high on our bedroom window, second is the back parking lot of our apartment and the grocery store behind the apartment.
Panoramic of same parking lot as above thirty minutes after it was plowed that morning. Just a few minutes later the parking lot was covered again.
This sunrise was especially beautiful because of the light reflecting off of the snow clouds.
The sky is on fire! You can click the pictures to enlarge and see some of the lights on in the buildings and the reflections off of the windows(:
Thanksgiving
For Thanksgiving Mom, Dad, Pamela, and Mae made the long trip up to Chicago to spend a few days with us! It was so great to see everybody and share our new city with them.
These pictures are from The Museum of Science and Industry. The first is Mae in a one-person electric car, then the lobby of the museum, and the Christmas Tree decorated to represent China in the display of trees from around the world.
Pictures from Navy Pier! Mom had to catch Josh pushing the stroller for Linda to use as leverage...and Mae just had enough walking. The last picture is of the inside of Navy Pier when you first walk in.
The second picture was graffiti under a bridge on the way to Navy Pier.
Cow girl Mae!
Walking to Navy Pier.

Mae loves to take pictures! Everytime Mom or Dad pulled out the camera she would say, "Mae's turn, Mae picture please!"
Picture in the Bean.
On the train, I love this picture of Pamela, she looks like a city girl. She was just happy to be inside so that her brand new industrial piercing didn't freeze over(-:

Magnificent Mile Light Festival
The picture above is in front of the Hancock Building, one of the taller buildings in Chicago off of Michigan, the Christmas Tree was about twenty feet tall on a lower level and we are standing on the street level with it behind us. It was really pretty(-: Below are pictures from Water Tower Place. The fountain in front was covered in twinkle lights and there were net lights over the walk ways.
